Reporting to the Senior Project Lead, Calcite, the Water Planning Lead (Engineer or Scientist) is responsible for leading the development and implementation of water strategies and management plans. This role will guide water treatment, water management and fish and fish habitat projects, in alignment with EVR's strategic priorities and our commitments to the communities in which we operate and relevant provincial and federal regulations, such as the Environmental Management Act.
To be successful, we are looking for someone with good leadership and communication skills, strong analytical and influence abilities with a capacity for practical problem-solving. As the role will work in close connection with other teams, the Water Planning Lead (Engineer or Scientist) will be part of a team dedicated to sustainable mining in the Elk Valley, with particular focus on water quality, fisheries and fish habitat, remediation...
