The successful candidate

must have access to reliable transportation as this position requires travel between RVS sites. RVS seeks an experienced individual who possesses strong understanding and practices in the inclusion of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit perspectives and Ways of Knowing and Being. Responsibilities: Supporting leaders and teachers in implementing effective and sustainable decolonized and indigenized practices Supporting teachers with the implementation of Indigenous Ways of Knowing and Being into daily practice Working collaboratively to support building division-wide capacity in greater understanding of Indigenous Ways of Knowing and Being and teaching historical, social, economic, and political implications of colonization of Indigenous Peoples and residential schools Working collaboratively with a variety of community and educational partners, including community Elders and Knowledge Keepers Supporting schools to build and sustain relationshi...
