LEARNING SUPPORT INTEGRATOR

The role of the Learning Support Integrator is to support classroom teachers and subject specialists to identify, understand and address the learning needs of all of the young people in their classes, ensuring that each learner is engaged, confident, and challenged to achieve.

This involves working directly with teachers and learners, and offering support and guidance to curriculum planning meetings, whole staff professional learning, and development meetings. The Learning Support Integrator will collaborate with teachers in the classroom, produce Collaborative Action Plans for those with identified needs, use a strengths‑based model to empower learners to take responsibility for their learning, use evidence‑based interventions to meet the needs of learners, and provide coaching to colleagues and parents where necessary.
