A leading leather manufacturer is seeking to appoint a highly skilled Leather Technician to provide technical support across tanneries, wet-end operations, and the dyehouse.

The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of pre-tannage and re-tannage development, proven automotive leather experience, and a strong track record in maintaining world-class leather quality standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric certificate.
• ISTT Modules 1–6 or equivalent qualification.
• Diploma or Degree in Leather Technology.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in beamhouse and dyeing processes.
• Strong development skills in pre-tannage and re-tannage.
• Experience in the automotive leather sector is essential; experience in other sectors advantageous.
• Knowledge of programming automatic dosing systems.
