Lecturer/ Assistant Professor - Academic Neurologist

Position Overview

The Division of Neurology, Dept. of Medicine at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, in partnership with the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, seeks a full‑time Academic Neurologist (Clinician Investigator) at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor to begin July 1, 2026.

Applicants will advance research in movement disorders, collaborate with a high‑performing team, and provide clinical care in inpatient and outpatient settings while pursuing scholarly activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct shared general neurology call and inpatient consultation services.
• Provide outpatient clinical care and manage related clinical responsibilities.
• Advance a scholarly research agenda in movement disorders (approx. 50% of time).
• Teach medical students and residents (approx. 10% of time).
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and serve key stakeholders.
