About the Role  

This role offers the opportunity for a mid to early career academic to contribute meaningfully to the University of Newcastle’s mission of delivering excellence in education, research, and professional service. Primarily based within the Discipline of Construction Management in the School of Architecture and Built Environment (SABE), you will play a vital part in advancing strategic priorities and delivering high-quality outcomes that support students, staff, and the broader community. 

The Lecturer (Construction Law/Quantity Surveying Practice) will contribute to teaching and research innovation in Construction Management, aligning with the School’s priorities.  They will deliver courses focused on problem-based learning and face-to-face and on-line learning with a focus on real world industry-based problems. They will help lead the process of ongoing professional accreditation for Construction Management.
