About the area
The School of Human Sciences is a large multi-disciplinary School that makes a significant contribution to teaching and research in the Physiology discipline. The School is ranked 30th in the world in the subject area of ‘Anatomy and Physiology’ (QS).
Core units within the Physiology major cover the fundamentals of various biological systems (e.g., nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, reproductive and gastrointestinal) and cellular function, as well as more applied science - exercise physiology, concepts of clinical and nutritional physiology, experimental methodology, and environmental physiology.
