LECTURER, POWER ENGINEERING - SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING

This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer, Power Engineering in the School of Engineering.

• Develop curriculum.
• Facilitate student learning and conduct hands‑on workshop training.
• Assess learners for modules related to electrical power systems and sustainable energy technologies.
• Spearhead and identify new opportunities and collaboration with industry.
• Work on industry or consultancy projects to remain relevant in the profession.
• Support student development in the area of education.

• Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant industry experience in electrical power systems, sustainable energy technologies or related fields (applicant does not need to be a LEW or PE).
• Passionate about education with strong interest in nurturing, teaching, mentoring and interacting with students.
