Job Description
The Legal Assistant enhances a lawyer's effectiveness by developing the case information, evidence, and settlement options; tracking cases; supporting the lawyer's trial proceedings. She/He also oversees the different Trackers established by the CEO to track the cases and the out-of-pocket expenses incurred for each case. It is the responsibility of the Legal Assistant to create/maintain an organized filing system in the cloud so that information is easily accessible to the legal team at any time and from anywhere. This online Legal archive is a confidential one owned by the CEO.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Draft Affidavits, Secretary's Certificate, Board Resolution, and other pertinent corporate documents.
Develop written statements and draft legal arguments/complaints for lawsuits.
Prepare motions and pleadings for filing in court.
