Legal Counsel – Commercial and Finance Transactions

About the Role:
BURN is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel – Commercial and Finance Transactions to support its growing operations across Africa. Reporting to the Head of Legal, this role will focus on commercial contracts, development and project finance transactions, and carbon-related agreements.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external counsel to structure, negotiate, and close complex transactions, while providing practical, business-oriented legal advice that supports BURN's mission of delivering clean cooking solutions at scale.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing legal advice and support relevant to the company's day-to-day operations, including drafting and negotiating contracts for the sale of carbon credits and for its operational functions.
