Become an integral part of WSP as a Legal Counsel, focusing on infrastructure, energy, and environmental projects. Your guidance in contract negotiations will directly influence project success across Canada.
We seek a member of a Canadian provincial Bar with a minimum of 3 years’ experience who is skilled in drafting and reviewing commercial agreements. You'll deliver strategic legal advice and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with corporate governance and law. Your exceptional communication and risk management skills will enable you to present findings effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support negotiation and drafting of complex contracts
• Advise project teams and stakeholders during project phases
• Draft and review essential legal documents and templates
• Evaluate risks and advise risk committees for approvals
• Collaborate on disputes with Claims & Litigation teams
