Legal Counsel for Transit Project

Contribute to the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension as a Project Legal Counsel. Support legal compliance, manage risks, and safeguard contractor interests in a large-scale transit initiative.
At TRP, you will be an integral part of the project legal team for the Metrolinx Eglinton Crosstown West Extension. This role requires expertise in construction law, contract administration, and dispute management. With 3-5 years of experience, you will provide proactive legal support and ensure compliance across various project facets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on prime agreements and risk exposure
• Manage interface risks with civil and utility contractors
• Draft subs and procurement orders reflecting prime contracts
• Support claims management and dispute resolution processes
• Ensure health & safety compliance on project sites
Requirements:
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent legal qualification
• Law Society of Ontario membership in good standing
