Legal Counsel – Intellectual Property & Strategy

Our client is seeking a qualified Patent Attorney or Senior IP Specialist with deep technical expertise to lead the company’s global IP portfolio and patent strategy. This is not a general commercial legal role - it is a specialist IP position requiring direct experience in patent prosecution, design registration, and integration with R&D and engineering teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

• LLB or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Patent Law, Design Law, and IP strategy
• Proven experience managing an IP portfolio (identification ? registration ? maintenance ? enforcement)
• Experience guiding IP development within technology, engineering, or R&D projects
• Engineering qualification (Electronics/Electrical) is highly advantageous
• Trademark prosecution and brand protection experience
• Proven ability to think strategically and lead in a technical environment
