Legal Counsel

Roles and Responsibilities

The Legal Counsel will provide legal, governance and compliance advice, assistance and support in ACEN and across the ACEN group, in particular for the core area of Philippine Development, to the end of ensuring that ACEN and the ACEN group comply with applicable law, avoid and minimize risk and liability, implement and observe governance while achieving business objectives and protecting business interests.

• Provide legal advice, assistance and support in relation to the development and execution of Philippine projects.
• Advise on and support permitting and licensing, regulatory compliance, including in relation to laws, regulations, requirements administered by the DOE, ERC, DENR, NCIP, LGUs, etc.
• Draft, review, revise, negotiate and finalize project development-related contracts, design/supply/installation/construction contracts, other contracts related to project execution, O&M contracts, ...
