The Legal Counsel role The Legal Counsel is accountable to the Vice President, Legal and Associate General Counsel for a wide range of commercial and real estate matters protecting the interests of the company and its clients against risks associated to ensuring compliance with applicable government regulations, internal policies and procedures. This will include providing legal advice and broad-based support to the company’s various business units.

How You’ll Make a Difference 1. Legal Advice and Drafting Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements under the guidance of senior counsel, working closely with Morguard’s business groups to identify risks and deliver practical, solutions‑oriented advice. Specific responsibilities include service agreements (property management, asset management, co‑ownership), supplier and vendor contracts, IT agreements, real estate listing agreements, and letters of intent across Morguard’s multi‑residential, retail, offi...
