Legal Counsel – Senior

The Senior Legal Counsel is part of the Legal Division that supports the University by dealing with all legal and contractual matters with a view to minimizing the University's risk exposure. As a team, the Legal Division also provides advice on data protection/governance and manages all corporate secretarial work.
You will provide back-end support to the University by reviewing and advising on legal and contractual matters in the course of its operations, including data protection and governance matters. Your duties will include:

Contract review and drafting

Legal research and advice

Propose and/or assess risk mitigation measures to mitigate contractual and legal risks

Perform corporate secretarial duties and other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

Law degree from a local university (preferred) or an SILE-approved university
