Legal Counsel

(What the role is)

The Legal Division (LED) supports the Authority in advancing its mission to develop and promote Singapore as a premier global hub port and an international maritime centre, and to advance and safeguard Singapore's strategic maritime interests. Strategic projects that the LED supports include the development of the Tuas mega port, developing regulatory regimes for maritime services including bunkering, and digital port and marine services, and advancing the Maritime Singapore Green Initiative. The LED also plays a key role in giving effect to and ensuring compliance with Singapore's international obligations under maritime treaties and conventions
