Legal Counsel

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our team in Winnipeg. Reporting to the Vice President, Legal, the Legal Counsel will support a broad range of corporate law matters, with a primary focus on advising the corporate development team on the negotiation and execution of M&A transactions and leading commercial contracting activities. Responsibilities

Support M&A activity by drafting and negotiating transaction documents, advising on transaction structures, and collaborating with external counsel, opposing counsel, lenders, landlords, regulators, and other third parties. Provide general legal support and advice in corporate and commercial law. Review and advise on complex commercial contracts, business structures, and arrangements; draft and review various commercial agreements.
