Mercor is hiring a Remote Legal Expert in Litigation to elevate AI research through your legal expertise. Contribute to shaping AI behavioral models while working flexible hours.
This contract role requires 20-40 hours a week, drawing on 1-4 years of civil litigation experience. You will design litigation scenarios, write responses, and provide structured evaluations to support the research team.
Key Responsibilities: • Create realistic litigation scenarios from practice • Produce high-quality reference legal documents • Grade AI responses based on structured assessments • Offer feedback to enhance model performance • Engage in onboarding and calibration sessions
Requirements: • 1-4 years of litigation experience • Juris Doctor or equivalent law degree • Licensed in the U.S., Canada, or U.K. • High attention to detail in written communication • Preferred experience in e-discovery or trial
