Legal Officer

Job Responsibilities

• Prepares, reviews and notarizes contracts and other legal documents needed for Pioneer Group of Companies’ operations.
• Prepares legal opinion for queries raised by various departments to provide information and advice.
• Coordinates and consults with retained counsels on development of cases referred to legal services.
• Represent the Organization in and attend any legal proceedings before the regular courts, Insurance Commission, DOLE, NLRC, among others.
• Prepares reportorial documents required by government institutions.
• Assists the Corporate Secretary in the performance of its functions.
• Reviews application for bonds and provide recommendations.
• Assists in the management of Bonds Operations.
• Ensure the Organization is compliant with the various rules and regulations of the Insurance Commission, SEC, AMLA NPC, among others.
