Designation : Legal Officer
Preferred Educational Qualification : Bachelor’s/master’s degree in law (LLB/LLM) from a recognized university, Strong knowledge of Indian education laws, labor laws, and contractual frameworks. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Proficiency in legal research and drafting.
Experience : 8+ years of experience in legal practice, preferably in the education sector or corporate legal department
Role Summary :
The Legal Counsel plays a key role in safeguarding the institute’s legal interests by providing expert advice on academic and operational issues, ensuring compliance with statutory bodies like UGC and AICTE. Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing legal documents, managing litigation, liaising with regulators, and developing risk-mitigation policies. The role also involves training staff on legal protocols and staying abreast of evolving education laws.
