Legal Officer Trainee at OMA Group

Job Purpose

• This role trains to qualify as Legal counsel whose scope is to support the lead counsel in the general management of legal matters and commercial transactions

Training areas:

• Provide legal support to the business development team on tender and bid documents

• Undertake general in-house legal work and provide support to various departments as required

• Handle corporate secretarial matters, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to corporate governance standards

Qualification Required & Experience

• Be a qualified lawyer and member of Ghana Bar Association

• Master of Laws/LLM or similar from Ghana and/or other common law jurisdiction is an added advantage

• 0 to 3 years PQE

• An engineering background and/or experience in an oil and gas setting is an added advantage

• Strong understanding of corporate, commercial and contract law
