Lenders Independent Engineer (LIE)

Colliers is looking for a Lenders Independent Engineer (LIE) to independently monitor project progress, costs, quality, and risks on behalf of lenders and investors.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project designs, drawings, specifications, and statutory approvals
• Assess constructability, project scope, and technical risks
• Review schedules, budgets, BOQs, and cost estimates
• Conduct site inspections and verify physical progress
• Monitor compliance with approved schedule, budget, and quality standards
• Review variations, claims, and contractor/developer bills
• Track risks, delays, contingency usage, and cost overruns
• Reconcile disbursements and validate cost/cashflow reports
• Prepare lender monitoring reports and drawdown certificates

Preferred candidate profile

• 3-5 years' experience in real estate projects
