Job Description

Job Title: Level 1- Maintenance Labourer Job Summary  The Level 1 – Maintenance Labourer is responsible for performing various manual and routine tasks to support the maintenance department. Responsibility Perform daily tasks, including recording coolant refractometer readings, topping up machine oils, and tracking usage. 
Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as lubricating machinery, changing filters, and checking fluids levels. 
Manage inventories of oil and coolant. 
Maintain housekeeping standards in fluid storage area. 
Operate forklift and floor scrubber as needed. 
Ensure equipment is maintained in a safe and clean manner. 
Close work order using the maintenance systems. 
Perform general plant maintenance as required. 
Academic/Educational Requirements High school diploma or equivalent
