Liberty -Senior Datacenter Systems Engineer- Curacao

The Datacenter Systems Engineer designs, deploys, monitors and maintains server and related infrastructure operations across Liberty Caribbean's internal corporate service's platforms. This resource will drive operational initiatives to improve resilience, service availability under I.T. operations to ultimately improve quality, and NPS. 

• Solution development for server infrastructure ensuring that installations meet organizational standards: redundancy in hardware paths (Power, network, storage), etc. 
• Documentation of infrastructure (existing deployments, pre and post installation for new solutions) 
• Deployment of hardware, i.e. racking and stacking of switches, routers, servers and storage 

• Working with other datacenter and facility teams for rack management (power, cooling, location) 
• Management of backup media (Inventory, tape vaulting and the destruction of old media)
