Description
  • Develop and manage collections of books and journals (both paper and electronic) for allocated departments
  • Deliver information literacy training sessions to students
  • Provide training programmes to post graduate students to support their research process
  • Assist researchers with literature searches using databases, printed resources, and the internet
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with academic staff and students
  • Manage and support the provision of reading lists in relation to allocated subject areas or departments
  • Deal with user enquiries, which may involve one-on-one advice sessions
  • Create awareness of information products and services to the allocated departments
  • Designing information products and services relevant to clients' needs
