Licenced Driver Examiner

Overview

Driver Examiners are responsible for independently and objectively assessing members of the public to determine driver’s licensing. Excellent time management, organization, judgment, and treating everyone fairly and with respect are essential.

We require a full‑time licensed driver examiner for the Calgary AMA Centers with availability 5 days a week, including mandatory Saturdays. Applicants who are current licensed driver examiners must be in good standing with Alberta Transportation.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Chief Examiner.
• Conduct Class 5 and/or 6 road tests according to Transportation and Economic Corridors standards and determine the knowledge and ability of drivers to safely operate passenger vehicles.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
