Job Summary

The Clark County Auto Licensing Specialist I/II performs journey-level vehicle/vessel license and title work; engages members of the public to facilitate a variety of vehicle/vessel licensing and titling transactions. Examines vehicle/vessel and mobile home documentation and applications; evaluates documentation for legal compliance and accuracy. Assesses vehicle/vessel valuation; determines appropriate taxes and fees based upon established criteria. Approves issuance of titles, license plates, registrations, and permits. Validates inventory fulfillment; receives, verifies, and distributes inventory issued by the Department of Licensing (DOL). Verifies accuracy of all inventories issued.
