Your Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Renal Dialysis within the Alberta Kidney Care – North (AKC-N) program. A Designated Float Licensed Practical Nurse – Renal Dialysis, supports the staffing needs of Alberta Kidney Care – North for vacant shifts due to planned or unplanned staff absences. You will support the relief staffing needs at 3 sites. Flexibility to meet the ever-changing relief needs of the program, is essential in this position.
As a member of the multi-disciplinary team, the Licensed Practical Nurse - Renal Dialysis is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Decisions are made in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The LPN – Renal Dialysis provides patient and family centered care to acute and chronic renal failure patient populations.
