LPN Behavioral Health Clinic

Performs all dispensary and medical tasks necessary for the operation of a behavioral health clinic; assists in counseling groups; orients, trains and directs the work of other LPN's.

Duties

• Performs dispensary functions as assigned. Performs necessary injections.
• Performs basic nursing functions, such as taking blood pressure and completing medical history forms.
• Maintains accurate records on client dosage, attendance, and relevant side effects; maintains and updates the medical treatment follow-up file on all clients.
• May perform initial assessment and evaluation of clients.
• May participate in the development of treatment plans through data gathering and observations.
• May provide clinical outpatient and/or in-patient treatment, including crisis intervention, to individuals, families, and groups.
