Job Overview

Located in Clean Harbors Edmonton, Canada, we're seeking a Journeyman Welder to apply trade skills to welding, fitting, and custom fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Repair & Maintenance Welding – focus on repairing and maintaining equipment, structures, and fixtures by applying heat to bond/fuse metal surfaces or parts.
• Use hand welding and flame cutting equipment such as arc welders, gas welders, and gas torches to assemble metal components into parts for equipment.
• Maintain and repair manufacturing production equipment, structures, pipe systems, and ductwork.
• Inspect existing weldments to identify areas of weakness.
• Perform metal cutting/trimming work or fabricate simple fixtures as needed.
• Work under limited supervision for routine situations and provide assistance and training to lower level employees.
