12. LIFTING SUPERVISOR

Job Title: Lifting Supervisor

Location: Site Based

Reports To: Logistics Coordinator / Safety Officer / Construction Manager

Job Summary:

Data Centre construction involves lifting massive equipment (Generators = 30 tons, Chillers = 15 tons) onto roofs or into tight spaces. You are the Appointed Person to ensure nothing falls.

Detailed Scope of Work (Data Centre Specific):

• Lifting Plans: Review and approve the Lifting Plan (calculating boom radius, load weight,

outrigger pressure) for every critical lift.

• Crane Management: Oversee the setup and dismantle of Mobile Cranes and Tower Cranes.

• Ground Stability: Verify ground compaction before any mobile crane is allowed to set up

outriggers.

• Coordination: ensure that lifting zones are barricaded and drop zones are clear of personnel

during hoisting.
