Light and Heavy Equipment Mechanic

The Light & Heavy Equipment Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of various heavy construction equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, graders, loaders, backhoes, cranes, and other diesel-powered machinery. This role ensures that equipment operates safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime and supporting uninterrupted construction operations

Job Description:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems of heavy equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks (lubrication, oil changes, filters, etc.) as scheduled.
• Conduct troubleshooting using diagnostic tools and interpret error codes from equipment.
• Disassemble and reassemble engines, transmissions, gearboxes, and other components when needed.
• Maintain detailed service records, logs, and documentation of work performed.
