We are currently looking for Line Mechanics to join our team in Taupo. These are permanent full-time roles with guaranteed 40 hours a week and fortnightly pay in a stable and supportive environment.


What you'll do,


The Key Responsibilities of the Line Mechanic are:


Provide line construction services by:

  • Fitting and erecting of poles and other line supports.
  • unning out, staining up, sagging and binding-in of conductors.
  • Erecting, fitting and connecting all necessary line equipment.

    • Provide a maintenance service by:

  • Maintaining and overhauling transmission and distribution lines.


  • Constructing/replacing damaged transmission and distribution lines.


  • Regularly maintaining and testing equipment to the required standard.
