Linux Administrator

New freelance opportunity for a Linux Administrator to join an international IT organisation, working onsite at their office in Valencia, Spain, or fully remote (CET hours). This is an English-speaking role which will suit someone with at least 4 years of Linux experience, that has good communication skills, and who can work in a multicultural and multi-location organisation.

As a Linux Admin you will:

Operate, maintain and troubleshoot systems, services, configurations, and core applications. 

Work as a member of the Linux support team

Provide production support, troubleshoot problems, provide incident and problem management and monitor and escalate as needed.

Identify areas of enhancement and deploy automated processes to minimize human intervention.

Define and implement security best practices and hardening of the Linux Server and related technologies.
