Linux Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or SUSE) across production, DevOps and Stagging environments.
• Perform system administration tasks, including patching, performance tuning, log management, and troubleshooting.
• Manage VMware or physical server environments, ensuring system availability and capacity planning.
• Participate in infrastructure lifecycle management, including system upgrades, migrations, and hardware refreshes.
• Support backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations and periodic DR exercises.
• Implement OS hardening, security compliance, and access control based on corporate policies.
• Maintain monitoring, alerting, and reporting for system performance and uptime using enterprise tools (e.g., Grafana, Solarwinds).
• Create and maintain technical documentation, system inventories, and change records.
