Lived Experience Advisor, Nelson Hospital – Permanent, Full‑time
Drive strategic advice, engagement and facilitation with service providers, staff and management within the Mental Health and Addiction services. Work across the Nelson Marlborough region focusing on systemic issues related to the needs and values of tāngata whai ora, Māori, and their whānau.
About the Role
As a Lived Experience Advisor you will provide strategic advice from the perspective of individuals who have lived experience of mental distress and/or addiction. You will facilitate restorative processes between clinicians and patients, act as a system‑focused advisor, and collaborate with Mental Health & Addictions clinicians to bring about systemic change.
