Living Lands Charter - Intern x2 (6 months)

We have an excellent opportunity for two (2) Living Lands Charter Interns to work with the Climate Change Section within the Climate Change and Oceans Division at the Commonwealth Secretariat.

The Commonwealth Living Lands Charter was adopted in Kigali - Rwanda at the June 2022 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM). It represents a commitment by all 56 member countries to safeguard global land resources, take coordinated action to address climate change, biodiversity loss, and land degradation or desertification, and to promote climate‑resilient and sustainable land management. The Commonwealth Secretariat and its member states recognise that land resources are under triple threat from climate change, land degradation and biodiversity loss across the Commonwealth.
