Loan Operations Team
The Loan Operations team is the centralized operational engine for Esusu's loan products, responsible for the end-to-end operational workflows of Rent Relief, and Esusu Split Pay and Affirm via Esusu Pay, including loan operations, disputes, and escalations.
Role Overview
The Loan Underwriter is responsible for credit decisioning and risk assessment across Esusu's loan products, primarily Rent Relief and Esusu Split Pay, within the centralized Loan Operations team. Underwriters evaluate applications, apply approved credit and eligibility criteria, and ensure decisions are consistent, well-documented, and aligned with program policies and risk appetite.
What you will help us deliver
- Receive, review, and evaluate loan applications as they come up and ensure they are processed as per established company procedures and policies.
- Assess each loan applicant's credit risk profile and help build out a risk scorecard.
