Job Description

Overview
The Local Area Network (LAN) Lead provides support to a specific DLA geographic region (Northeast, Central, South, and West). This position will support and provide direction to the network engineers in their assigned region.
 Responsibilities 
Assist the network engineering team with equipment lifecycle planning and installation, as well as development of technical specifications for procurement of Enterprise LAN equipment.
Coordinate with the Network Engineering team for the placement and cabling of LAN equipment within the DLA enclave.
Development of market research for new equipment and provide recommendations to Government POC.
Provide input on LAN designs and architecture as required.
Perform lab testing of LAN equipment.
Provide knowledge transfer to the Network & Telecommunications Services (NTS-LAN) government staff.
