A meticulous Localization Tester responsible for validating software builds in German or French. This role ensures that localized versions of the product meet linguistic, functional, and UI standards. The tester will identify and report bugs via JIRA directly to SAS team.
Key Responsibilities:
Each Localization Tester must perform all of the responsibilities listed below.
Review and test software builds in German and French environments.
Identify and document localization issues, including:
Truncated or overflowing text;
UI misalignment due to language expansion;
Encoding problems (e.g., special characters not rendering correctly); and
Contextual mismatches or cultural inaccuracies.
Perform exploratory and regression testing focused on language-specific UI.
