Summary The position is at the full performance level located in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), at the VA Loma Linda Health Care System (VALLHCS) in the Facilities Management. Serves as the Medical Center Locksmith. Responsibilities Major duties and responsibilities will include: Performing maintenance, preventative maintenance, installation, and repair of a variety of locking and latching devices, door closures, battery operated alarms, and miscellaneous door, window and cabinetry hardware; Performing master keying, pinning, re-keying, and changing mechanical locking devices, i.e. removable core, interchangeable core, key in knob, key in lever, cylindrical and mortise locks and deadbolts; Maintaining master key records and generating master key systems for each type of locking encountered; Servicing and changing combinations on safes and vaults; Maintaining security and locks for narcotic storage and medication storage; Installing and ma...
