Locum Consultant Radiologist - Specialist Interest in Breast

Applications are invited for a Locum Consultant Radiologist with a subspecialty interest in Breast Radiology, but we are very happy to discuss accommodating any other specialist interests.

The Radiology Division is expanding in terms of workforce and hardware to meet the demands of our increasing workload. The Health Board (BCUHB) recognises the importance of Radiology in delivering national and local standards in many aspects of healthcare, and are investing in the expansion of Radiology. We are currently working towards the Quality Standard for Imaging (QSI)

Main duties of the job

Job entails symptomatic and screening work. Support breast multi-disciplinary team (MDT), multimodality breast reporting (Mammograms, MRI/CT) as well as Radiology Assisted Breast Core Biopsy (RABC). Candidates should have the ability to perform interventional procedures such as Magseed localisati...
