The opportunity

This is a rewarding opportunity to provide primary healthcare in Mapoon, a small Aboriginal community on the western Cape York Peninsula. You’ll be supported by a dedicated team of nurses and Aboriginal Health Practitioners, delivering culturally appropriate care in a community-focused environment.

The clinic operates Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, using Best Practice software, with a minimum of 20 minutes per consultation. There are no after-hours, on-call or weekend requirements, ensuring a balanced and rewarding locum experience.
