Logistics Assistant

Job Description: Receiving of cargo/goods from trucker. Sorting of cargo/goods by shipment destination. To ensure all stacked cargo/goods are safe and secure. Be accountable for the cargo/goods movement within the warehouse. To ensure all inbound cargo/goods, together with supporting documents are thoroughly checked upon receiving. To ensure all outbound shipments, must only be released upon submission of relevant supporting documents by the receiver. To ensure the receiver acknowledges all outbound cargo (through proper documentation) in good condition. Any discrepancy(s) for inbound and outbound cargoes must be immediately reported to the superior and documented. Any cargo/goods outside the warehouse must be properly canvassed. General warehouse maintenance. Able to support other departments when required Job Requirements: No experience required; training will be provided.
