Job Description

Our Montreal client, who is an importer and distributor in the fashion industry is currently looking for a full time permanent staff member to fill an immediate Logistics Manager position.


Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Logistics Manager will have transportation and logistics background with knowledge of supply chain through international importing/exporting. This role will involve both supply chain logistics as well as customer service. The business utilizes Visual software environment and experience with Visual is preferred though not mandatory.

The qualified candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Manage relationship with Customs Broker and Carriers to ensure timely clearance of all shipments
  • Validate and proof paperwork relating to imports and exports to ensure a high level of customs compliance
  • Process all adjustments and corrections to CBSA within the required timeframe
