Logistics Officer Roodepoort, Gauteng & Cape Town

We are seeking a motivated and organized Imports & Logistics Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a vital role in facilitating the seamless import of goods, ensuring they arrive at our door on time and within budget.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure, maintain and enhance current company supply chain processes and systems
• Monitor shipments and coordinate with customs, carriers, and vendors to ensure timely arrival of goods
• Ensure ethical compliance with local and international trade regulations
• Monitor and report changes in regulations that may affect shipment of goods
• Prepare, review, and submit documents related to import and export activities
• Work with vendors, customers, and other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Negotiate with vendors and carriers for competitive pricing and services
