Logistics Specialist

Position Summary

The Logistics Specialist to perform delivery of customer's product by applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations on roads. He/ she will meet the delivery schedule by complying safety and delivery requirements.

Responsibilities and Duties

• To perform delivery of goods and ensure all delivery is on schedule.
• Assist in loading and unloading of goods.
• To pick and pack goods for delivery to customer site.
• Ensure all the documentation related to the loads is checked.
• Reports and documents discrepancies on orders received to the Immediate Superior.
• Carry out basic vehicle maintenance and checklist procedures.
• Handle delicate and sensitive products with utmost care.
• Conduct work carefully to reduce negative impact/ risk to the environment and health & safety.
