Job Description
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling transport, tracking delivery status, and communicating with carriers, suppliers, internal stakeholders.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels, perform reconciliations between physical stock and system records (ERP/WMS) and identify discrepancies.
Work with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and vendors to ensure service level agreements are met, coordinate logistics activities and improve efficiency.
Manage documentation and logistics data: shipping instructions, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, invoices, etc.
Analyze logistics performance (delivery lead time, cost per shipment, inventory turnover, etc.) and propose process improvements to reduce cost, increase speed and accuracy. Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, import/export laws (where applicable) and internal policies.
