Logistics Supervisor (Import/Export)

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage inbound/outbound shipments; coordinate transport arrangements; liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PL providers.
• Act as the main point of contact with warehouse teams, brokers, and transporters to ensure efficient communication and timely deliveries.
• Track and compile freight costs, prepare cost reports, and assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead and supervise logistics staff, assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to SOPs and safety standards.
• Support the HOD in planning, coordinating, and executing logistics projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and promote safe work practices.
• Address logistics issues, resolve shipment/documentation discrepancies, and escalate complex matters with solutions.
